  • "It’s very, very easy to feel completely overwhelmed at the start, but also even more so when you get a few months in to the gig." That EXACTLY describes me. I was the "we need to get more serious about product management" appointee, without really having a mentor or someone in the company who has been a devoted Prod Mgr. And the more I get into it, the more I realize I don't know.

    It's also refreshing to see you comment on that which is important NOW. I struggle with how much time to spend on strategy vs. tactical. I seem to get bogged down in tasks which are pretty now-centric, at the expense of not doing some of the 6-18 month stuff.
